Making Money Online as a Gamer! Part 2

Earlier i made a post about making money online as a gamer and so far the response has been amazing. I just wanted to make this follow up with some extra tips for those of you that signed up on Swagbucks.

Do your daily searches for points! Make sure you are logged in, this is a good source of points. http://search.swagbucks.com/

• You can choose to download their toolbar but i personally think they are too much clutter. I recommend just downloading the plugin to add the search engine to the top right of your browser. Or just set the the search page as your homepage to make quick searches.
• When you use the search engine you earn points at random times threw out the day (make sure you are logged on when searching).
• The trusted surveys are a good source for points, i would recommend doing the 100+ point surveys because they pay you better for your time. Just remember these can sometimes be hard to qualify for, but in the end it is worth it even if you can only do a small handful of them.
• I would stay clear of the daily deals, but that is personal preference.
• There are random sweepstakes and swag codes. These are a chance of luck but pay very well.

I get asked a lot on Twitter and other various social networks how i make extra money online as a gamer. There are many different survey companies out there that you can make money with but they can be time consuming and a bit boring at times. Knowing which sites are legit is key, as many of them are just out to waste your time for nothing.

As a gamer you are probably online a good amount surfing the web, doing searches, watching gaming videos and stuff of that nature so why not get paid for it? I recently registered on Swagbucks for free to give it a shot and so far the payouts have been decent with minimal effort. If it wasn't i would have just tossed the site out like i have done with most others. If you follow me on Twitter you have probably seen my updates on Swagbucks whenever i earn points or cash out.

You do things like use their search engine (very similar to Google), watch technology/gaming trailers and many other fun activities. When you cash out i would recommend getting the $5 Amazon e-gift cards for 450 points. Then you can save those and buy whatever you want on Amazon. I usually buy things like computer parts, Xbox live cards, games and gamecards. You will obviously not get rich using this site but it is good extra money for your gaming needs.
